Christmas Coffee Recipes
Christmas Eve Delight (makes 10 cups)
- 3 tablespoons of butter
- 1 cup of brown sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 10 cups coffee
- 10 strips orange peel
- 1 apple, cored and sliced into 10 pieces
- optional - 1/2 to 1 shot of rum per cup of coffee
Melt the butter in a small pan of low heat. Stir in the brown sugar, allspice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Allow mixture to cool and then store in a sealed container in the refrigerator. To serve, put 1 teaspoon of the butter spice, 2 tablespoons cream, 1 strip orange peel, and 1 apple slice into 6 ounces of hot coffee. If desired, add 1/2 to 1 shot of rum.
Christmas/ Holiday Latte (Also known as an Eggnog Latte)
- Brew espresso
- Steam eggnog as if it were milk.
- Pour espresso into mug.
- Pour steamed eggnog.
- Spoon out frothed eggnog.
- On top of froth, lightly sprinkle nutmeg.
Elves' Coffee Break (makes 4 cups)
- 2 cups coffee
- 2 cups apple cider
- 4 cinnamon sticks
- 4 thin slice of orange with rind
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
- 4 teaspoon brown sugar
Stir the coffee, apple cider, cloves, allspice, brown sugar, in a saucepan and simmer for 3 to 4 minutes. Pour into 4 cups and add a cinnamon stick and orange slice to each cup. Add additional brown sugar if desired.
Santa's Java (makes four cups)
- 3 cups of coffee
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 vanilla bean - sliced
- 4 cinnamon sticks
- 2 tablespoon of brown sugar (use more if desired)
- 2 teaspoon of crushed chocolate (sprinkles may be used)
Slice the vanilla bean lengthwise and place it in the bottom of the coffee maker carafe. Brew 3 cups of coffee. While coffee is brewing, whip the cream and brown sugar together. Pour the coffee into four cups and top with the whipped cream mixture. Add one cinnamon stick to each cup. Sprinkle the crushed chocolate on top. Add extra brown sugar if desired.

You make a coffee in an Irish coffee glass with the whipped cream on top than you heat up the amaretto with the baileys and the sugar. Serve the coffee on the table and put the flaming alcohol in the glass.
Saint Valentines Coffee Recipes
Combine one ounce scotch and 1/4 ounce Drambuie into mug. Fill with hot coffee and top with whipped cream.
Mix one part Bendictine, one part Kahlua, and hot coffee into a mug. Top with whipped cream. Float a dash of Cointreau on the whipped cream.
Saint Valentines' Mix
Moisten the rim of a 13 ounce glass with an orange slice and then dust with cinnamon sugar. Add 1/2 ounce Amaretto, 1/2 ounce Bailey's Original Irish Cream, and 1/2 ounce dark cream de cacao. Fill the glass with coffee and add whipped cream.
Steam 8 ounces of 2 percent milk. Pour in 2 shots of espresso and 1 - 1/2 oz of chocolate syrup (hazelnut may be substituted). Add whip cream and sprinkle with chocolate.
